Synopsis: Captain Nascimento is in command of a squadron of the Special Police Operations Battalion (BOPE) an elite corps of the police in Rio de Janeiro whose mission is to monitor and pacify the slums of the slums before Pope John Paul II comes to visit. Captain Nascimento
tells us just how corrupt is the police and politicians who have agreed to gubernatorial offenders and drug dealers to the police raids in the slums. Nascimento wants to leave his post, as it is to be a father, but first needs to find a suitable replacement.
