428-0432 About the Festival:
During five days the city of Lima is home to one of the most important traditional dance: the Second International Summer Dance Festival, to be held from January 1 to February 5, 2011.
This festival will begin with a show in the city of Chincha, on 30 January in the district of Pueblo Nuevo, and then continue his tour of various districts of the city of Lima. Dancing couples have been invited four fellow countries: Colombia, Chile, Mexico and Venezuela. Various genres that include folk dance, flamenco, tango dance nationalist and can be appreciated by lovers the art of dance.
also various dance groups in our city will accompany the international guests among which we mention: Fuego Andaluz, Inti Sumaq Center Native Art, Dance Fusion, Pacha Peru, Latin America in Dance Ballet, among others.
This event is an initiative of Ballet Dance English America, led by maestro Eduardo Ludeman and Cultural Promotion Olga Ignacio and has the important support of the Ministry of Culture, the Magisterial Pour the Escuela Nacional de Folklore "José María Arguedas ", the American Federation of Dance and the municipalities of Santa Anita and Miraflores.
